Doot doot doo. It’s really nice out so I covered Sondre Lerche’s “Modern Nature” with a friend. Let’s hear it for Marlee Kula on the girl throat!

Download it for free at my bandcamp!

Here’s an old cover I did of Sondre Lerche’s “I’ll Be Okay.”

The original is a pretty mellow tune, but I read the lyrics and imagined them coming from someone had become mentally unhinged because they were broken up with, sort of like Napoleon XIV’s “They’re Coming to Take Me Away.”

So it’s not as pleasant to listen to, but you can subject yourself to it if you like.

There is a time for dancing nude to Sondre Lerche with the windows open

and this is it.

You’re not complete till you pair with someone else

But what does that help

if you haven’t found yourself?

Okay, not to ever post lyrics on my blog, but—

jesus Sondre, keep taking my mantras and putting them to music.

Neeeed to cover this song. Are there any string players in Boston that want in?

The antidote to rain and grey skies.

This is one of 5 tracks from Sondre Lerche’s Daytrotter session, which I highly recommend downloading (it’s free)!

It’s all I’ve been listenin’ to this week.

EDIT:

Watch piglet dance as you play it.
