Anonymous asked: I agree that boycotting GoDaddy wouldn't do anything, but you might as well go vote, for chrissakes. You might not think that voting has the same impact as making comics and jokes, but it's that kind of attitude that keeps our generation under the thumb of of the rich, white patriarchy. All the tl;dr blog posts in the world don't mean shit if you don't actually DO anything. ...

Anonymous asked: Kinda lost respect for you. While GoDaddy's never capitulated to boycotting (sarcasm), your excuse for not voting is... you don't have enough say? How stupid. People have died for that very freedom. Liberty is a great, great thing. Will your vote decide an election? No. It's kind of like a child folding his arms in the corner because they don't have it there way. What's...

Anonymous asked: Well, in response to your previous ask, I'm a vegetarian because I believe my impact will matter, no matter how small. Don't give excuses for your laziness. If you don't want to do it just say you don't want to do it. Every little bit counts. I know not everyone can to everything, but if it's something you strongly advocate for, it looks extremely hypocritical to go back...

Anonymous asked: OK (although you glossed over a few points) answer on my previous question regarding GoDaddy- I suppose I should have read over my question before sending. Due to question character limits, I had to delete half of what I wrote before sending, which apparently made it sound as if I was challenging you or saying you should stand alone in boycott (or join a boycott, although you assumed I meant...

Anonymous asked: I gather from your answer post about using GoDaddy that you don't believe in boycotting or making financial decisions based on how a company conducts themselves. Is there a limit or is it just about not taking your conveniences away? If a company was (instead of just making disgusting ads) actively using 'your' money to lobby against civil rights- would you avoid business with them?...

Because I pulled an all-nighter last night and am still awake from it, I’m making up for lost 6 AM Sessions.
(Last one, I swear.)
This one’s the toughest, because it’s not a theme. But it’s FROM a tv show. If you get it, I will sing it to your FACE. Deal?
EDIT: “royallytenenbaumed” got it. It’s the finale from Charlie’s musical “The...

I’ve never played this one before, so it’s a bit rough. It’s still discernible, though, yeah?

If you got the last one, you might get this one. Do you recognize it?
[No one was going to get this one anyway. Check the tags.]

Can you name this one, miss?
Here’s a hint: it’s Summer Height’s High.

Anonymous asked: what is your opinion about disney and its mindless gender stereotyping in its movies?

Anonymous asked: It's ironic you're all for gender egalitarianism, but your website is registered through GoDaddy, who thrives off of sexist marketing.

How was everybody's Festivus?!
Do any of y’all celebrate Frank Costanza’s original traditions? Have a pole?

Four Awesome Christmas Albums
My boy Simon Panrucker’s Happy Christmas, You Guys! He’s not a well-known musician or anything. Just a super guy who put out a Christmas album two or three years ago. Breaking out this album is a Christmas tradition for me, as is rewatching his Gangsta Christmas Time video from 2005. You can have a listen to the whole album for free at his bandcamp.

I'm glad y'all like the song.
I’m working on an actual original song today (because tomorrow is Festivus), and that’ll be up tomorrow. So, if you’re into it, get into it.

Because SO MANY PEOPLE (two) asked, here’s what my foley experiment sounds like with Season of the Witch mixed in.
Also because SO MANY PEOPLE (my sister) asked what I used for some of the sounds, here are some of the more interesting ones:
The bathroom tiles are a pitched up recording of me running my finger down the length of my MIDI keyboard.
The hand coming out of the ground is a...

I don’t know if you’ve seen the trailer that came out a few months ago for Laika’s new movie, Paranorman, but it’s pretty cool. They chose not to include any sound besides Donovan’s “Season of the Witch” and then a small bit at the end.
I made a Bizarro version that only has foley and sound effects.
It’s an experiment in limited means, because...
